They show no loyalty whatsoever, they just love to fit in with everyone else, they see it as a trend and once its over they just move on to the next trend, those BASTARDS!

I would have to guess because people as a whole hate to be wrong, and it is easier to jump ship before it sinks.
I will always stand by my team, the Twins, win or lose. I was very disappointed a couple years back at playoffs, it was at the Metrodome, last game against the Yankees and people were leaving before the end of the 7th inning. We stayed and actually got to move down a few rows. You can tell who the real fans are, the ones that stay thru the end of the game, winning or losing, still waving their Homer Hankies!

I can imagine a lot of people are bandwagon fans especially bandwagon Yankees fans. They do that because they want to be fans of a winning team. I agree that it is a disgrace to be a bandwagon fan. However, I live in New York. Along with being a Yankee fan, I am also a fan of the Knicks, Jets, Giants, Rangers, and Dragons. I also go for the farm teams of the teams that I mentioned. I have been a Yankee fan since the days of Donnie Baseball, who is my favorite player, and a good person. Therefore, I am not a bandwagon fan of the Yankees or any team that I mentioned.

Some people just can't handle when their team has a bad year. They're such big wussies (stars out ever other word I try to use) that they can't watch their team lose. So to avoid this, they switch to a winning team. I've been a Calgary Flames fan for years and years. I stayed with them (going to 10 games a season) even through the 7 years when they didn't make the playoffs. Now, 2 seasons ago, when they went to the Stanley Cup finals, everybody's jumping on the wagon. When I call them out, they're all like 'I've been a fan for years, man'. It makes me want to go over there and punch them.

I don't know, I was born into a Yankees family. My great uncle played for their farm team so I don't have much choice. But I also like the Cubs even though I know that they are not all that great of a team, and I also like the home team Tigers. When it comes to hockey and football I like the Red Wings (home team) and the Stars(only cause of Madano) Patriots (only cause of Brady) Lions (home team). That's it I hate basketball so cant have a team there.

it has happened in illinois over the last 2 yrs with the bears and white sox.im a transplant from the east coast and i happen to root for boston teams except the pats.i moved out here in 83 so i became a bears fan cause i couldnt watch my seahawks.i dont feel that is bandwagon jumpin because i do root for and pay to see them still.i chose the white sox because i view the cubs as i do the yankees.it use to not be cool to go to a white sox game unless you loved em or where a true southsider, mullet and white wife beater and your chick wore the same.now girlie girls get all dolled up with 'pink' baseball hats and $200 daisy dukes.its digusting cause you know once the sox arent cool any more theyll go back to wrigleyville and fit right back in.

Yeah it is really retarded, im only 24, but i jumped on the Cowboys bandwagon when i was little because they were badass. But i never jumped off even though they arent as badass. I think people just do it to be cool and have something to talk about because they really dont know about sports. As long as no Cubs fans jump on my Cardinals then whatever, But if they do, i will fornicate their eye sockets.

Usually people that jump on bandwagons, dont have a favorite team, and therefore go to the team that is winning. I dont see any problem with band wagonners. They can cheer for any team they like. I just would prefer that if a person is going to jump on the band wagon of a team that is winning, they at least continue to cheer for that team.

I have hated the Cubs way before it was cool to hate the Cubs. I wish people would stop getting on the anti-Cub bandwagon!
