It is extremely hard to sue a Franchisor.
Read all your paperwork very close. If you know of anyone with any legal background or a realtor have them look it over, they may give you advise. I say Real Estate Broker because they have skill in law and contracts.
Do you know of one?
If not see if an attorney will take the case Pro-Bono. Some will take it because they can build a class-action lawsuit and make money that way (when many want to sue this same Franchisor) or they will take a percent when you settle that is if you win.
The first try to see if you have a valid case.
Call many attorneys as some have a heavy workload and wont touch it where another may be interested or have the time.

Just make sure you are in the right and did not sign any paperwork that gave your Franchisor the right to do what he is doing. The biggest problems with Franchises is the Details, how much they get, how they want you to conduct business, your location, and more.
A franchisor can dictate even the smallest aspects of your business. You represent their Franchise business and you must follow their rules.
Talk to someone with experience in businesses, if not an attorney get a Real Estate Broker who specializes in selling businesses in your area.

I know you say you cannot afford a lawyer, but I am an independent associate and our lawyers are on a retainer for $26 a month, the top lawyers in each state, and they can take care of your law suit, would you like to take a look at that?
