I am almost 36 weeks, I have felt not so good for a couple of days... but today I started feeling sick to my stomach, light headed, sharp pain between my shoulder blades, and just all around sick.. no temperature.. I dont know wither to be concerned, or if this is just normal in late pregnancy..

I have felt terrible, sick, acid heartburn, nausea, diziness, etc.. all through the third trimester so far with this pregnancy. I told the doctor and she said that some women do get "morning sickness" back in the third trimester, and it isn't even all that unusual.

Unless your temperature goes up, I wouldn't worry, just keep eating bland foods, nothing that makes you feel worse, and eat little and often, so as not to fill your squished up stomach too much!

I hope you feel better soon - not long now anyway!! Good luck!

I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and have probably experienced almost every pain their is during pregnancy...I did feel nauseous, starting at about 32 weeks and never had nausea at all during my whole pregnancy. Being light headed would still be pretty common throughout all of pregnancy. Make sure you are drinking enough water and are eating well...just to rule out dehydration and hypoglycemia. I don't know what the sharp pain could be between the shoulder blades--I know I just got an achy pain under the shoulder blade. But, if you are concerned, get checked out to put your mind at ease. Hopefully you will feel better soon.

I have that same problem. I stayed up for hours with the pain between the shoulders. My doctor gave me a perscription for zantax. IT WORKED!!! Also try to put a pillow behind your back and lean back over it so your stomach stretches. It's because the baby is compressed in there and she is pushing on your stomach. I complained for 2 weeks about this pain and the day she gave me the meds, i haven't felt them since. Good Luck

This could be just labor beginning. You only have 3 weeks left to go. Keep your feet up, and call your doctor, make sure you take a tube sock to the hospital with tennis balls in it, you might experience back labor with the pains you are explaining, the tennis balls are good to use, your coach should massage your back with it if you start to have back pains when in labor. I hear it helps a lot. Also have someone give you a neck and shoulder massage, it might just be from carrying that weight, and your back is telling you it needs a massage.

This can be normal, but if you are at all concerned please contact your midwife or doctor.
