I have always wanted to name my first daughter Tabitha. Im thinking Tabitha Beatrice-Ann. When I tell people this, they think the name is ugly. What do you think?

I don't think it's ugly, I think it's a very sweet pretty name. I like Tabitha very much.

The only thing I'd say is Beatrice is quite an old fashioned name, and teamed with Tabitha which is also not as common, it makes it even more old-fashioned. I'm not fond of the name Beatrice at all. How about just Tabitha Ann, or maybe another middle name?

However if there is some reason behind Beatrice (like a family member) then I'd keep it.

Overall though, I think your choice is still miles better than all of the weird 'supposed to be cool, mis-spelled, make up names' that most people seem to pick, especially on here. It's very very nice. I'd stick with it.

I like the name Tabitha. It always reminds me of the daughter on the TV show Bewitched - who was a cute little girl. The middle name is a little cumbersome, though. Why not Tabitha Ann, or Tabitha Beatrice?

It's not bad. People keep saying it sounds like a witch but maybe it's because of the combination? Like Beatrice and Tabitha AND Ann together sounds a bit too Puritan witch trials. Try Tabitha Rochelle. Or Tabitha Elise, something modern like that.
You can always call her Tabby.

I really dislike the names Tabitha,Beatrice, and Ann. In my opinion I think the names all together sound awkward. No offense. Hope I helped and good luck!

I personally like the name Tabitha. But Beatrice-Ann may be over kill. I like Tabitha Ann. As for being Tabitha being a witch name, I knew a Tabitha in High School and she definately was not a witch!

Im a man so I dont know if my answer counts or not? BUT! I think the name Tabitha is fine and Ann is fine! Beatrice is a little old fashion but its what you want that counts! I would name my child whatever I felt sounded good to me and they wouldnt be made fun of when they are old enough to go to school. So you do what you feel is right for the child and sounds good to you!

I have a friend named Tabitha, and I think it's a beautiful name. However, I would go without Beatrice-Ann.

Hope I helped!

I was just thinking about this name 30 seconds ago...very strange! Well, Tabitha anyway. :)

Tabitha isn't very common anymore but it is a cute name. It isn't one of my favorites but it is nice. Tabby is cute for a little girl. I don't know how the nickname will be as an adult...

The name is really long. I am not crazy about the flow and Beatrice isn't my style either.

Name her what you like! SD

Hi, I like Tabitha, i think people are saying it sound's like a whitch is because Tabitha, was the daughter of Samantha in Bewitched. Tabitha is an old biblical name.

I think Tabitha is cute! It reminds me of Samantha's daughter on Bewitched, who is of course, simply adorable. You could even call her Tibby, like in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. But I think having a hyphenated middle name is only going to be a pain for your daughter, not to mention a mouthful. Try using your maiden name or a family name, but either way, keep it short and sweet. Tabitha is a strong name, and giving her Beatrice as part of her middle name is just a little too powerful. But in the end, the decision is really up to you, so if you like it and it feels right to you, then who am I to try and stop you?
