i have had the re-occuring problem of buying a new computer game and not having it work for one reason or another. Specifically i just bought microsoft flight simulator x but my computer wont let it run. Any suggestions for someone looking for a computer under 1000 bucks. I know i will also want to buy more advanced games in the future so please plan for that. Thank you

The best suggestion I can give you is to check the requirements on the game before you buy it. Each game will list the minimum requirements: operating system, processor, hard drive space, memory, etc.

Just about any new system you buy today will play most games - just try to load up on the memory!

You know, I see questions like this all the time...What to buy? What's best for whatever...It depends on what you want, how much you spend, and what it's going to be used for...
Do some shopping and look around.
You got 2 choices.
1. Buy the computer already built. (Expensive, and you don't get exactly what you want for your money)
2. Build your own and spend half the money and get exactly what you want.
I'm not going to tell you what to buy or what you need, that's up to you...But I'd build it...It's really EASY.

i can't help you without knowing more about the specs of your computer. I don't know what you have. Tell me that and I can help.
