I believe that something may have short out inside your computer.
Unfortunately, when water touches the electronic board creates rust, this rust can make jumpers or acts like a piece of wire across the circuit board, creating a short circuit. possibly something burnout in the board. sorry.

You can use laptop continuously like employees use in MNC. You should keep the AC or Ceiling fan ON while using laptop. And also you should keep laptop on a flat surface because heat will pass from the bottom of the laptop. These 2 things should be done.

It probably did get wet. Hopefully it was a safety switch that shut off. (Water and computers don't mix.) Try waiting until you are sure the computer is dry, make sure the battery is charged, and turn it back on.

Unplug everything and let it dry for at least a day. Use a hair drier if you have to. Then try to turn it on, see if it works. If not, depending on your laptop's value, you might be better off just to get a new one than spend the money to fix it.

You are probably correct. It got wet.
So go remove the battery and unplug it. Take it to a repair shop ASAP or you may want to try the remedies as detailed on the following site: http://www.lifehacker.com/http://www.lifehacker.com/software/laptop/emergency-first-aid-for-liquid-in-the-laptop-202331.php

electronic and liquids don't match. The water got near the battery. Try turning it on again. Or see a computer specialist.

I suppose it's damaged by the water. Take it to the shop and let them see if and how it can be repaired
