Its not illegal. If a 7th grader was going out with someone over the age of 18 - that would be illegal. But for a 7th grader to go out with a 10th grader - its legal, but I'm sure their parents would not like it at all!

It all depends on what you mean by going out. Is this a friend only? Then maybe but you need your parents permission.
Anyone under 18 yrs old is a minor and you need parental permission.
If you are talking about dating, dont do it. It rarely works out in this age group and it will only bring you heartache.
If you are in 7th grade you should be more involved in your education that dating (at 12 or 13).
There is plenty of time to date in High School.

As long as the 10th grader is under l8. Why would a 10th grader want to go out with a 7th grader. Big maturily difference there! Better be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as long as you don't do anything...wrong. as long as the 10th grader isn't over 18, it doesn't matter, unless of course the 7th grader is over 18

If you mean, go to a movie, its not illegal.
It is very unwise however. Stick with young people your own age until you are out of college.
