it goes both ways ,. and most kids think their mom's and dad's don't understand their friends . but there's one thing that kids need to understand they were your age as well and they have lived it . maybe you do need to let your mom and your friends get to know each other and let things go from there . best of luck to you .....

Moms are naturally right about these things. I know this from expierence. All I can really say to you is listen what your mom has to say, and after she is done try and see if what she said makes sense. Think about what she said. I mean are the influencing you in bad ways ect. And if they are try not to hang out with them as much, if they are. If they are true friends they'll understand.

P.S. The key word is COMMUNICATION (with you, your parents, and your friends).

P.S.S. Hope that help. Good luck!

talk with your mom and find out why she doesnt trust them. motherly instinct is amasing for spotting the wrong sort. then armed with her insight, go and have fun with your friends but keep aware of what they do. if it gets illegal or immoral, dont be afraid to say no. you dont have to stop hanging with them just have a little common sense with it.
