what would help besides dividing them is if the posters would say where they're from. what works in britain dont apply to the states.....then again, if noobs in the states had to have manditory training, we might not have so many go down barely into the season. especially when it comes to rice rockets. i would support a federal mandate that to get a 600cc and up sport bike, u need a minumum of 2 years on either a 250 or 500cc sport bike. and the max cc's for a sport bike for street would be 750cc...there's no reason to have a 1200cc water cooled rice rocket that there's no legal way anyone would be able to tap its full power anywhere but the track.

I have mixed feelings on this, just like I did when someone suggested having an area for sportbikes and another area for roadbikes.
In some cases it would be very helpful, but in others it would not. As another answerer mentioned, some things are universal.
Maybe it would be more appropriate for the person posting a question which was region-specific to identify which region they were in.
And, to be honest, there isn't that much traffic in the motorcyle area to warrant Yahoo dividing it.

I can understand why an American motorcycling interest would not want widely held International opinions about bad products
so this is exactly why On line should have the freedom from all
motorcycle interests everywhere to stomp the narrow-minded.
Freedom for everyone is an American trait. Just say, "I want
the liberty to ASSOCIATE with every biker on the planet On line
under one heading: 'Motorcycling'.

While I see a point here, I prefer it the way it is. And as usual, guardrail jim is right on, and says it better than I would. I find the different questions to be interesting. It helps expand my horizons. I see a lot of questions from India as well. Different. Interesting. I don't alway write where I read.
As far as where I am:
I live in a small town in the state of New Hampshire, United States of America.

Yes, that would be helpful. There is sometimes little USA activity in the dead winter, but it takes some time to wade through all the world's questions not to miss a good USA question.

I have come to appreciate the international aspect of this forum. There is much to learn from one another no matter where we are located. Now if there were a way to prevent people from asking bone- headed questions like: "which is the best bike?" - I'd be all for that.

it fairly is a few info for you. Germany became unable to invade Britain because of the Luftwaffe being defeated interior the conflict of england, not something to do with the US. in actuality the US sat returned and watched the completed of Europe burn and presented no help. there have been extra British and Canadian squaddies on the D-Day landings than American.British and Commonwealth squaddies ,have been additionally struggling with the Japs on the comparable time. the rationalization Hitler divided his forces to combat on 2 fronts, became because of the fact of his failed invasion plan of england. After this defeat, he grew to become his interest to what he observed because of the fact the better aim of Russia, returned not something to do with u.s..The invasion of Russia( Operation Barbarossa), got here approximately until now u.s. became even interior the conflict. The conflict of Stalingrad, is seen by potential of maximum because of the fact the turning component interior the conflict, returned, not something to do with u.s.. u.s. profiteered from the conflict and while Britain and Europe have been very nearly bankrupt, the US got here out of the conflict two times as rich as whilst it entered. It then used this new chanced on money and potential to attempt and administration ecu rules. The "Lend hire" scheme became in basic terms that , a loan with interest and Britain purely paid this off some years in the past, with u.s. having made a super earnings. the US did not see the threat of Warsaw %. and it became surely Churchill who coined the term "Iron Curtain" and had to indicate out the destiny threat. no person doubts the sacrifice made by potential of American squaddies, however the conceitedness and lack of understanding, that human beings oftentimes spout approximately, how they won the conflict and stored all human beings fairly annoys human beings you comprehend. in basic terms the reality that Hitler declared conflict on the US and not any opposite direction around, shows that u.s. would not fairly have a ethical leg to stand on. for especially much 3 years ,u.s. made money, whilst the Jews have been being exterminated, whilst Europe became being ravaged and whilst woman and babies, by potential of the thousand ,have been being murdered.the place became u.s. then?undergo in strategies that, next time you experience like an smug, ignorant rant!

Good idea. There are also lots of questions specific to India, so a seperate page for each area would be good. General, USA, Europe, India etc

No. I like the questions and answers from other countries. They tend to see motorcycles as fun transportation, not as toys to be trailered.
