I bought them at the same time. My two little Pomeranians, female 9 mo, male 8 mo were in the same cage at the pet store. I couldn't resist so I bought too. Growing up wasn't a problem. In the mornings, they'd kiss, in the afternoons, they'd play, and at night they'd fall asleep on one another. The passed two weeks, the female starts growling and attacking the boy. I have no idea why. He just wants to approach and be affectionate, however, she starts showing her teeth and trying to snap at him. I'm scared for him. Do I yell at her? Do I punish her? What to do? What may be the cause of this? Today, when it happend, I lightly patted her bottom, so she knows its not okay. I WOULD NEVER HIT MY DOGS!

They are setting up the dominance and pack order of the house.
You need to get these dogs neutered and spayed. Comming from a pet store they are not breeding quality and should be altered.
That alone will help some with the aggression between them.
The female is usually the dominant one in the pair and your girl is just showing the boy it is she who decides when things will happen and when he can get close to her. That is normal.
Until they sort out who between them will be the dominant one you are going to have little skirmishes it is normal and as long as no one is getting hurt let them settle things.

If you haven't had both of your dogs fixed, I would do as soon as possible. It's better for the male's mind, and chances are the female is much to small to breed without complications. You could easily lose your female if she is bred and that would be a tragic loss that's easily preventable.

If they are fixed, then you need to research this breed further. They can territorial, one-person dogs. Maybe she's staking her ground. Maybe she has temperment problems due to poor breeding, you did get them from a pet store after all. If she has temperment problems be careful swatting her behind, she may come after you with a challenge.

Yes, they're cute and cuddly, but they're still dogs and as such they're still suspect to breeding problems, temperment problems, and must be spayed and neutered for their own good or you're asking for even more problems.

Maybe it's just dominance issues between the two. She simply doesn't want him in her space and she's being vocal about it.

If they are not fixed, please seperate them in case she's coming into heat.

Are they spayed and neutered? If not, she could be in heat and be moody. For the health of your pets, get them fixed.
