That depends on whether you are referring to blood drinkers or energy vampires. A great many energy vampires (also called psychic vampires) have no idea that they are such and feed simply ininstinct. Most blood drinkers discover at ssme point what they are but may go for quite some time before hand not knowing. So I gues the short answer is yes under some circumstances and no under the same circumstances.

In authentic Vampire folklore, it might be possible. Vampires in folklore and literature don't necessarily fit all of the rules of vampirism imposed by Hollywood movies. Also, Vampire folklore tends to vary from region to region, and in literature, an author can write whatever he or she wants. Seems like they'd start thirsting for blood sooner or later, though. I don't get it with real people who call themselves vampires, though, but I guess they're just having fun.

Nope you would know, i havent ever seen one i seen some people who dress Goth and wear fangs and stuff the wanna be Vampires. I think Vampire is more a state of mind than anything and if you wanna act like one thats your buisness as long as you dont hurt anyone its cool with me.

That was a weird refrence, but very true. A true vampire may mentally drain a person mentally and physically using psychic powers. others drain the energy from actual blood. most of these people become somewhat dependant and will even get it from animals.
anywhay, yes, to your question. A were-thing (which I don't personally beleive in) can supposedly go to bed, wake up, kill their family and wake up again, thinking it was al a dream. while sleeping, you may astral project, posses an animal, and go in pursuit of blood. pay attention to your dreams. Your spirit could be out and about sucking life force out of people as they sleep!

there are no vampires, but some people have a very strange and bat illness, they cannot go into sunlight. they would get cancer and become blind. these people have to be very carefull and they have to cover every single part of there body.
This illness is also a reason for the vampire myth, but not only.

There is no such thing as a vampire. Also, the moon isn't made of green cheese, there are no leprechauns, dragons don't exist, neither do unicorns or fairies. There is no Santa, no Easter bunny, no tooth fairy.
Life is just full of disappointments,isn't it??
