sometimes British soldiers accuse the Americans of being ruthless towards innocent civilians...any comment?

as a person that just got back from 6months of combat in ramadi iraq i can tell you that it happens. ive seen civillions get killed when it shouldent have happened, ive also seen a sloppy airstrike blow up a couple of familys that could have been prevented.

I haven't heard these accusations. But if it's true, it needs to be known and looked into.
But in all honesty, war is hell. Think about what these solider are facing on a daily basis, hour by hour. The Iraqis are killing each other and our soliders are in the middle of two wars at the same time. We are fighting terrorists, then they have to deal with Sunnis and Shiites fighting each other. This is a war like no other. Our soliders are tired and just want to come home. They live minute by minute over there. Not knowing who is who, where the hidden road bombs are, not knowing which person walking around is a suicide bomber, whether it's a 8yr old boy or an 80 yr grandmother. Then they don't have the proper armor and they have to deal with hearing crap from our mouths and how we are fighting each other here about the Reps and Dems. All this fear and stress can easily make one just start shooting at who ever walks around the corner. We all know many innocent people are losinng their lives but I don't it's fair to blame American soliders, Blame the Iraqis that keep the war going.
God bless all the soliders, from all the countries that are involved! They need God's protection! and all of our support!

so are American police very aggressive with the people who have to listen to them.
American police are not all rude and aggressive. The more professional the police force like our Michigan State Police then I never seen a rude policeman or police women.
I am talking about your local police. City police or deputies sometimes act like nazi's or even worse. They throw your freedoms away when their is not camera on you and if you are alone with a few bad cops your life is in danger. I am not young but I have gone to a women lawyer over a case of false charge of spousal abuse and was told that i should be glad i was not taken out and beaten up badly and then taken to jail as this often happens and I live in Monroe, Michigan. I know this happens especially if your are a non white or a minority race. I am white but i still could be given a beating in the bushes by some cops.
This is why i am not surprised that the British (which i don't care for either) would make this charge..yes, these guys in the military are brought up on movies like John Wayne and Bruce Willis..they shot first and ask questions later..its what inflames the world against the United States...Why does the U.S. always have to be the bully of the world? because we can?? maybe we have called the nine elevens to come out of our own ruthless self pride.
Americans...please stand down..you don't have to be the policeman of the world ...give it a rest...just stand down for our children and grandchildren have a right to live too...

I see ignorance is not limited to race. They should be more ruthless, eh? You people make me sick. You love shedding blood for capitalist agenda. If you are mad about terrorism, look no further than your own government.
Why should soldiers be ruthless towards civilians? because their muslim? No doubt the masses jump behind them in support like it's ****** lynching time. Racist, heartless, bastards, who love to shed blood. You are the pigs and you make me sick.
But no doubt, in the future, Americans will be apologizing over their actions and saying it's in the past. We didn't do that, why should we be blamed for what they did. Yet they have their chance not to follow in the same blood crazed ways of their fathers and they don't hesitate to run off and kill. "But they are civilians" the people cry. And America responds, "Who gives a sht. More blood, death to the Muslims. Death to the terrorist. Death to everything that won't bow to us. Death to everything we fear and don't agree with. Death, death, death." You people make me sick with all of your devilish thoughts and ways.
The only people who are mad about this comment are those it applies to.

Oddly, they don't ever accuse Muslim thugs of being "ruthless towards innocent civilians" - at least, not that you'd ever read about in the Guardian...

Have you ever been in combat?? I have. The whole idea is ruthless. But let me assure you, we need to be even MORE ruthless dealing with the pigs we are at war with right now. It's the only thing they understand.

I think you're just looking for a reason to hate other people. You must be a liberal.
If you were really worried about "trigger happy" people you'd REALLY be pissed about Muslims blowing up unarmed women and children in malls.
Why are liberals so blatantly ignorant that they can't see human beings murdered in cold blood in front of their faces but have plenty of time to find reason to be pure bigots?
