Do you like the name Ariella? Why or why not?

I think its a pretty name. Not too common, but not so out there that people will make fun of her. Good Choice!!!

My theory is it has pretty potential...but I'm a firm believe your need to hold the baby in your arms and see if the name fits the precious bundle or not....especially since they will have to live with it their lives.

I tell you names can be lovely on paper but just don't go with the person. I'd suggest having a few in mind and then seeing what seems to "fit" best.

Also, think if you like "Ari" or "Ella" since that is what friends will likely shorten it to. My guess is that and Ariel will probably be used. My personal opinion is that it's a very pretty name for a baby and for an adult....not sure about the middle years. But I still say it all boils down to if it fits or not with this or any other name.

I think it sounds really pretty but she may be teased when she is older because it sounds a bit like areola.

I don't care for it because I think it's too hard a name. Hard meaning gruff or rebelious.
