like i dont have itunes but is there any other way i can get songs on my ipod? if so HOW?

You have to use iTunes. Apple designed the iPod to only use iTunes to transfer files to the iPod. You can get it at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ for free. It comes with the drivers to make your computer recognize your iPod.

No I believe that is not possible since you need to have the songs converted from a CD or something to the iTunes that allows you to drag it into your iPod.
If its a problem of not having a software here's the apple site to download iTunes for free (this is where I downloaded mine):

Your iPod would work better if you use it with its iTunes software :)

you do know that i tunes are free right the download of the software? You download that and it searches your computer for songs/videos to put on your ipod. you can get Songs/videos for free but it is kinda illegal to do it. try downloading Limewire for free and you can download songs, or something like morepheous or something for free.(but it can also be illegal)
You could do Rhapsody and download there as well. but as far as i know about downloading music to the ipod i only know of itunes working.

Ipods have a certain format they use so no but you can download itunes at their website for free.

yes go to google video and when you click on the music way of to the side where the commets are go to the very top there should be this thing next to download click on the arrow pointing down and there should be download on computer download on psp and then download on ipod click download on ipod then click download but make sure you have your ipod plugged into your computer

i think that u can use Rhapsody. i once tried it and it worked!!!
