I want to say it is "Bad Wolf" and "The parting of the ways" when the Doctor, Rose and Jack go to Satellite 5 at the end of series 1. You disocver that the Daleks are behind the goings on with the game shows and such at the end of Bad Wolf and then the battle ensues in "The Parting of the ways" after which the Doctor regenerates.

In season/series 2, I believe they were only in Army of Ghosts and Doomsday, the 2 part finale.
