Ignore them but at the same time, be wise. Keep a secret diary to cover your butt when and if necessary. Be as professional as possible, that will make them look even more childish. Hopefully, they will notice they are stupid and improve. Mind you, I doubt that it will happen.

Treat them the same way you would other associates regardless of age. The fact that you pointed out that they are "older people" makes me wonder if you aren't discriminatory or rude to them (in a very subtle and unconscious way) igniting what you refer to as childish behavior. You might want to examine your own behavior and make some modifications before pinning labels on other people. There are childish people of all ages at all jobs. Suck it up and focus on what you are being paid to do.
