It was without a doubt, the tackiest funeral I've ever seen. Red Carpet?!?! It's a FUNERAL not the Oscars!!!!!! And what was with that pink thing over her casket? It looks like something you "might" put on a little girl's bed - but a grown woman's casket?!!? Who would be caught dead with that on their casket? Oh, right, I forgot who we were talking about. And what a shame/waste of a beatiful dress - that's probably the most gorgeous dress she's ever worn - and no one except the mortician ever saw her in it. It was a more of a circus than a funeral. Not classy!

This has been made a media event by those involved.
Hence, the circus- like funereal and the plastering all over.
It seems those involved should be more concerned about the fate of that poor little baby than the media festival they've been having over a dead corpse.
Bizarre priorities.

Princess Diana didn't have that big a funeral or extravagant. She Was definitely deserving of the kind Anna got. Anna should have had a simple Funeral.

Yes it was ridiculous. A nice normal funeral would have been nice but it was like that because those people could afford it. It shouldn't have been on TV. It's not as if anyone cared BUT celebrity worshipers.

No I am not tired. Because I think I am witnessing a cultural
phenomenon that I want to remember. Crazy stuff like this doesn't happen too often!! And I admit, I do hate the irony because it is all the exact thing she would have wanted when she was alive!! She died for this. Now that's sad, right? @80)
(And I hate the men for calling her a whore when they bought her Playboy pictures and basically made her what she was)

*sigh*.....just a LITTLE ridiculous? When I first heard the news, I was over it in about five seconds. I don't really care much about the lives of celebrities; I've got my own life to worry about!

I don't want to speak ill of the dead but her only claim to fame was marrying an old man for his money.
She insisted that it wasn't for the money but then why was she still fighting for it twelve years after his death?

maybe you shouldn't have watched it then... but yeah i totally agree and i know this sounds bitchy but she's dead, it's not like she cares what her funeral is like... i don't see what the point is of making it such a big deal
