Because there are a lot of lame grammar queens here.
They have an inferiority complex, and consequently they want to make other people feel bad about themselves.
Also, a lot of the grammar queens are actually very stupid (despite their years of schooling), and they are incapable of reading comprehension.
A competent reader can determine the meaning of any passage, no matter how unusual or excentric the grammar or spelling are.
Also, a lot of the grammar queens are snobs, and they look down on working class people - they want everybody to write in the manner of rich people!
I personally hate the grammar queens and if any of them correct my grammar or spelling in one of my messages they get an automatic thumbs down!!!

I usually try to spell everything right, even on the internet, but with yahoo answers if you take too long correcting what you write then 10 people show up and say the same thing before you get a chance... but the check spelling thing only takes like 5 extra seconds

You're right - let's know no history, no geography, no math, no literature, no foreign languages, let's f*ck up even the one language we'll claim to know, sit in front of the TV and shove burgers and "freedom" fries down our fat a*ses and gulp beer and holler at football games and be proud Americans. Show your freedom of choice and live like a barrel of fat with a pea-sized brain. And make sure you have stars & stripes stretched over your fat belly to show your patriotism.
