Kobe will not win even though he deserves it. They should let fans pick! If that had happened Kobe would have two and Nash would have none. The media is in love with Dirk and Nash because they are white and foreign.

Kobe is a good player and i think this year the MVP is more
wide open than in a long time. i think , I'm sorry to tell you, tho,
that Kobe's chances are slim and I'll tell you why. it really has
nothing to do with his basketball game. the sportswriters pick the
MVP and the coaches pick the all defense players and Kobe does
not enjoy the kind of relationship with the press that is going to
get an MVP nod in the foreseeable future. my guess would be
the squeaky clean LeBron if he finishes the season strong. good luck!

Who cares if Nash is white & Canadien. Kobe is an over rated ballhog who takes too many shots and never passes the ball. Nash is all about TEAM. Bryant is only about ME ME ME ME !!

i think the MVP is always going to be debated....but think about it...
would we give the MVP to a superstar player playing on a team of average players but then gets them to the playoffs? or do we give the MVP to the best player on the best team in the L.
i think u have to give the award to the player who stands out in a team. the player who leads the best team. in this case, heavy considerations for dirk and nash. both make the team better. both push their teams ABOVE the rest. without those players the respective teams would not function and compete as well as they do
