I met a girl on the Net and she said she was Vegetarian, I can't find Vegeteria on the map. What continent?

I usually spot the jokes and just say, "you're funny" or something. Sometimes I'm in a bad mood and nothing's funny. I usually skip it then. Sometimes I see a joke, but I'm able to put out what is hopefully a useful answer to other people reading the question. I don't believe I've ever trashed anyone's question.

I gotta say...that is pretty funny.
If she got offended by it, more than likely she has some superficial personal reason for being a vegetarian -- that she feels is all-important and deep; and more than likely she feels that everyone should be a vegetarian. She probably automatically felt that by making that joke you were not taking her seriously and that you don't respect her as a person. After all...if you "cared" about things like she does, you'd be a vegetarian too.
