I have never seen this type of screw before. It is on a Seagate external hard drive enclosure. I need to open the enclosure to repair the drive inside.

This screw is not a torques which has 6 sides. It only has 5 flutes. It is shaped like a perfect 5 point star.

Of course, opening the case will void the warranty, right?

Sometimes an allen wrench will just fit into the screw. Otherwise, you can get those screwdriver/wrenches at home depot or other stores.

Sounds like you're talking about a torx screwdriver.
