Making your own blowing bubbles
Materials Needed:
1/2 cup dish soap
1 1/2 cups water
2 teaspoons sugar
Instructions:
Mix all 3 ingredients together. Don't stir or shake too much! :-) Store in a sealed container. Experiment with blowing bubbles using different items.
Captain's Bubbles:
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup blue dishwashing liquid,
1tsp. salt
1tsp glycerin to make even better bubbles(optional)
Combine well, but do this gently. Use as you would any other bubbles.
Best Bubble Solution
1 Cup Water
2 Tablespoons Light Karo syrup or 2 Tablespoons Glycerin
4 Tablespoons Dishwashing liquid
Combine well, but do this gently. Use as you would any other bubbles.
Tip: Do not use cheap dish soap. They are thinned out and do not work well. I have had best successes with Ajax, Dawn and Joy. Dawn blue seems to be the best.
Mix together and have fun :-)

We love bubbles in our house, but we are trying to save money. I want to make my own bubble solution, I've done it before but forgot how. Can you help?

mix 1/2 cup Joy or Dawn dish soap (no other brands they do not work well) with 5 cups of cold water. (measure carefully it really does make a difference.) and stir. add 2 tbls glycerine (helps the bubbles last longer but can be omitted.
you can you a string with two straw sides, you can use a bent coat hanger, if you have a big flat pan it works better for the BIG bubbles.
this works well for little bubbles but its makes the Giant bubbles as well.

We used to use dishwashing liquid with a little water.
You need to experiment a bit to get the right mix .
If there is a dollar store near you they sometimes have bubble soap for $1.

Water and dishwashing liquid.
I'm not sure of the ratio of water/liquid, but use a little 'trial and error'.
