I have given up my credit card and now deal only cash. so is it possible to book online and remit thru western union or some other
? do hotels accept such a transaction?

sad to say u need a credit card for online reservation. y dun u make a telephone booking? some hotel accept phoe bookin n no nd credit card

Normally hotels do not. You still would need a credit card to reserve the room in most places and then you can pay cash upon check out - they may even require a cash deposit for incidentals. If you travel - its always good to have a credit card - even if you wind up paying cash for everything- makes it a lot easier.
