the BIG q: what shd i buy, a ps3 or xbox 360?

i liv in india, and the 360 has already been officially released here. hopefully, the ps3 will soon be released too. i don mind spending if its gonna be worth it. pls don suggest me 1,jus cos u own it! thnx!

i am more inclined to buy the ps3, as i feel tht although it might not be too good now, it might succeed in an yr or 2...with lots of more games....

i dont want a Wii as its graphics suk...and do ull have any idea wen ps3 is gonna hit india??

if u have lot of money and time to wait for ps3 then go for it.You should buy depending on the type of games u play.if u play car race then u can go for xbox and if u play FPS games then go for ps3.BUt i still prefer xbox because it is good console at a cheap price.ps3 may come to india during mid october or november.Not guaranteed.But u may get smuggled ps3 at National market in Bangaore .

I have a 360 and would recommend it too anyone it has a far bigger game library thant the PS3 and has xbox live.
But thats not for everyone therefore Im going to ask you wheter you preffered PS2 or Xbox? because Microsoft and sony have done a role swap Sony now has the powerful expensive ugly thing that doesnt yet seem to offer much
Microsoft now have the sleek sexy smaller console with slightly less power but more innovation and better software.
Therefore if you chose Xbox get a PS3 if you chose PS2 get a 360 however if you love the exclusives on a console eg Metal Gear Solid or Halo get that console.

Just PS3. You will see the difference. I have both and I prefer PS3 over XBOX. It's a matter of time before you have more amazing games for PS3

PS3, in some more months, you will have lots of 360 games like Saints Row, GTA IV, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007, etc.

i would suggest u buy an xbox 360 cause its already got a lot of games and also its controller can be connected to ur pc via usb port to play pc games. it will be like a gamepad only better. the software is already installed in windows vista to connect to ur x box 360 controller. if u r using windows xp then u can download it from www.gamesforwindows.com

i do own a ps3 and so far well....is pent so much money i have nothing left on games....it has been good though especially if you have a psp because u can put ps1 games on ur psp if u have a ps3.

I never did like the Xbox series though so it might just be me.

if you do get a ps3 dont get the $500 one it sucks the 600$ is better

And ps3 has better graphics

I would go with 360 at the moment, it has the best selection of games, a great online community and will only get better with the release of Halo 3 and Halo Wars.

xbox 360 is the best.i m too frm india.u can play games very smoothly.so i suggest u to buy x box 360.u get 10 game cds free also.and the games of ps3 are too less and costly

you should go with PS3 its got really good graphics also can use a blueray disk (hi definition disk by sony) its also has a computer 60gigabytes(harddrive)but the xbox 360 sucks because they put the old system in and raised the price

ps3 does not have such a great selection of games now. but later by oct-nov some great games will come out.
also gears of war is one of the truly great games but its the only good game that it has. also xbox relies heavily on multiplayer but in india therz hardly any scope for that. also sony's always a safe bet (think psx-ps2).
go for the ps3.
