Why do big brand name fashion houses have outlets...is it just to sell last seasons unwanted clothes. Or What? Please give me a good length answer, I need to write a page on this

Usually just to sell clothes that didn't turn out like they wanted them to be, or if they didn't sell in the actual stores, and if there is a minor problem that they won't want to sell int he actual store but they could still sell.
personally, it is just minor stuff so i still go to the outlets. lol

Outlets usually sell fashions from the previous fashion season. Some sell seconds which have some minor defect.

Usually there is something wrong with the item, stiching didnt work or slight tear here or there. Or it didnt turn out the way it was suppose to.
