Im pretty much the same size and weight as you and all the boards i have bought have been between 154-158. It depends on the type of riding you want to do and also personal preference. I generally like to go for a smaller board as they are easyier to throw arouned but i mainly do freestyle riding i don't ever ride powder or anything like that so i don't think i would ever buy a board larger than a 158. But if you are just starting off and want to dabble in a bit of freestyle and freeriding then a 158 souneds like a good size for you.

155 - 157 cm, for park. if you plan to go big mountain (steep with powder) I would go to a 160. I recently purchased a Libtech Magnetraction 164cm (they also make a 160cm) and I will never ride anything else. Highly recommended. A 164cm has been holding me on the nasty steeps real well. I weigh 230 lbs and hold a height of 6'5".

between a 155-160.
I am 5'9'' and 155lbs and I just bought a 157. I think its a little big for me (i rode a 151 and 154 previously) but it would be perfect for you. Because of your weight though, a 158-160 might be better.

i have been snowboarding for 13 years so trust me on this....
if you are just riding around the mountain. not really doing any tricks or anything. you will want a longer and stiffer board so you can cruise faster and have more stability. for you im thinking like a 160.
But if you are more into freestyle. ( rails and jumps ) you will want a shorter more flexible board. like a 156.
Please get back at me and lemme know if this helps

almost all boards manufacturers have boarfinders in their internet sites. try to look there before buy one because the size depends not only by your weight and height but also by your boots size, the kind of board do you want (freestyle, freeride, halfpipe etc) and also varies from board to board because of different materials, shape and other stuff.

you need a snowboard that when standing up, reaches to your chin. Your weight won't affect it, just your height.
