We used an external 160 gig hard drive that hooks up via USB port and it works great with the ps3 60gig. All our music and videos photos are on the external and the ps3 uses the external just like the internal.

Hi,

If you are looking for a Internal Hard Drive for your Playstation 3, what you'll want is a 2.5" laptop Hard drive. The largest 2.5" laptop/notebook drive is 200GB.
