I'll be honest and say I don't know a thing about demonology. As for my opinion; demons are ficticious creatures.
As for witchcraft:
The existence of thousands of ancient sites discovered by archaeologists, for one. Witchcraft and other earth-based religions are the oldest religions in history and more people than you think still practice it.
Witchcraft is a religion. It is not bad, evil, demonic, satanic, or any other such thing. Witches don't even BELIEVE in satan. Satan (or the devil, Beelzebub, Lucifer etc) is a CHRISTIAN invention and the way he is depicted in Christian books and what not is deliberately based upon the way Witches and other pagan religious followers depicted the God of the Wood. (fyi, the God of the Wood was worshipped for success in hunting so people could continue to thrive and survive not for anything "bad")
When Christianity became the more powerful religion, the leaders tried to convert as many pagans as possible and one of the ways they went about it was to incorporate their image of the God of the Wood into the myths about this horrible creature they called Satan so others would fear and reject Witchcraft and paganism in general. (I could go on and on with other examples of this, such as Christmas, Easter, the entire Catholic mass, etc.)
Witchcraft is not new. It is not bad. It just IS.
And if more people took the time to educate themselves about it's history and customs the world would be a better place.

The existence of an irrational concept equipment has a medical foundation. It became formed over eons contained in the limbic equipment of human brains. no longer only witchcraft and demonology, yet gods, goddesses, angels, heaven, hell and all issues that flow bump contained in the evening. evaluate the Jesus freaks, evangelicals and different deeply religious individuals, all have reverted to that primitive limbic platforms of our brains, the position the position our deepest thoughts live. The 'born-again' Christian phenomena has a medical foundation. even as human beings are in deep melancholy, close to death, just about starved, or different noticeably emotional states, the 'religious journey' is led to. Hormones, dopamine receptors and different chemical reactions ensue...all reliable for the body. they help to wrestle ailments, etc. It became a survival mechanism our bodies have stepped ahead because the days of our primitive ancestors. those that understand the reality besides the undeniable fact that, ie objective reality, are literally not permitting themselves the body's protecting mechanizm that has advanced over the years. the nearest they (we) can come is to have self belief contained in the 'ability of efficient questioning' it truly is the nearest to faith (use of the limbic equipment of our brains) that we atheists can get. i have chosen objective reality, even understanding that a delusional worldview may be valuable to my well being and body....flow parent.

Oldest practices known to man. The first group of humans on the earth God destroyed with a flood because they continually became more and more wicked and violent. However, God let one man named Noah and his family repopulate the earth because Noah found favor with God.
Noah's great grandson Nimrod (his name means 'Let Us Revolt')
and his wife Semiramus had a son named Tammuz. Here is where wickedness began again. It is said that Semiramus and her followers spawned 70 gods and goddesses. They had an idolatry god or goddesses for everything from fire to water. Within their temples witchcraft was practiced and because they opened themselves up to the devil, Satan empowered their lives with demon possession. In the end this possession will destroy the human but for a time they can gain great knowledge. These people worshiped the creature instead of the Creator.
The main factor is Satan himself. That old serpent in the Garden of Eden who deceived. He intends to kill, steal and destroy mankind or as many as he can.
