ok so i'm 14 yrs old, female, 5'3-5'4 and i weigh 120 lbs..now i know i'm not fat but i just need to tone up and lose maybe an inch off my stomach so i don't want any lectures on "ohhh you don't need to diet ur normal" but how much weight can i lose and still be at a healthy weight?

Hmm I would focus more on working out than losing weight. Try to do crunches every day. I promise you'll start seeing real results after a week or so if you really keep it up. Drinking a ton of water helps as well. Because you're still young, there's really not an ideal weight for you because you're still growing. Who knows, in a year or so you may shoot up a couple of inches and that fat will all stretch out... that's what happened to me anyway! Good luck. Just try to cut out fried foods, snack cakes and coke and you'll be doing great.

When I was your age, I was a few inches taller than you and weighed about 110 pounds, and I was quite skinny. My friend when she was your age, weight about 100 to 105, and she was as tall as me. But you could probably lose about 10 or 20 pounds and still be healthy. Mush more than that, and it will get bad.

According to teh chart, you are good ( between 116-126 lb ) for your age and hight is healthy.

I'm 5' 3" and I'm 108. I'm your age. If I loose 3 more pounds, I'd be a little underweight. I think you are fine. There's nothing wrong with not looking like a toothpick.
