I am having an 80's Party tonight... And I need to put togetter a few CD's of 80's songs... The problem is I think I have exhausted my brain on songs from back then... I am sending out an SOS to you all to offer up some great tunes from back then... Rap, Pop, Heavy Metal and etc... If it drips 80's I want it...

Here are 10 Essential(ly) 80's CD's:

Bon Jovi - "Slippery When Wet"
Janet Jackson - "Control"
Poison - "Open Up And Say . . . Aaahh!"
Billy Idol - "Rebel Yell"
Madonna - "Like A Virgin"
Prince - "Purple Rain"
Michael Jackson - "Thriller"
Duran Duran - "Rio"
Cinderella - "Long Cold Winter"
Cyndi Lauper - "She's So Unusual"

Any of the singles from any of these will bring back those thrilling days of Reaganomics, when the Prophet5 Synthesizer ruled the airwaves and MTV shone bright and new across the land (and actually played music).
