The Shamrock Shake is a seasonal dessert sold at select McDonald's fast-food franchises during March, to commemorate St. Patrick's Day. Essentially, the Shamrock Shake is a standard Vanilla shake, flavored with mint extract and dyed green.

2 cups vanilla ice cream or soy ice cream
1 1/4 cups 2% low-fat milk or soy milk
1/4 teaspoon mint extract
8 drops green food coloring
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
Stop blender to stir with a spoon if necessary to help blend ice cream.
Pour into 12-ounce cups and serve each with a straw.

Enjoy!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!! :)

It's a green, mint flavored milkshake that McDonald's brings out every year in March for St. Patrick's Day. Really, really good! Try one :-)
