I own a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII and it can surpass any car, no doubt. Although I haven't fully put turbo in my engine, the car handles like a beauty. The Evo has outstanding handling and the ability to accelerate rapidly, especially at a test track. The Evo has the chance to beat a Corvette and and the Lamborghini. I have seen the Lamborghini Murcielago get beat in a track test by an Evo, so no doubt it can beat the Corvette. I think that the Evo will be the only car of it's kind to be able to carry all the capabilities it has. My Evo can do the same to any car that I can find on the streets. The Evo is one of the best cars that you can own and actually make other cars eat your dust altogether.
Hey Curious George....don't be too curious with my Evo because I can eat and chew up Probes like I can with Bananas........

if you go to barnes and noble in the section with all the coffee table books you will find one called "supercars" in it you will find the lambos, ferraris, bugattis, and amidst all of these cars with 6 figure prices tags or more you will find the EVO. so yes it can be. in fact it is faster in the quarter mile than many of these are stock.

There is a waste gate used to control the boost, it is real easy to play with. I had a Probe GT turbo 2.2L with the waste gate wide open I beat Mustangs and Cameros all the time!
Corvette? you can have him for breakfast.
Lambo? you'll have to try.
Hey Drift King, my Probe would give you a good run for your money!

it can be, they have great handling but in a staight line probably not. Any car can be made to go faster then another, but a good rule of thumb is "how fast you want to go is relevant to how much money you have"
