Always a man should be given an another chance to correct himself ,we should not through him out of the job or from the family ,we should try to tell advice him not to continue with the same activities. this the only way a man can be corrected if he is really serious about his life.

its really very good to give one more chance. after all man commits mistakes. he should be given a chance to change. but if you give more than 10 times and still they don't change, then you should stop bothering about them. if you still continue having the hope, its only your perception about them. you love them and "NEED" them in your life. so you keep telling to yourself to give him/her a chance again... be practical at that time. take firm decision.
