First of all it is something you should talk with your doctor early on in the pregnancy. My third and last pregnancy I also had a c-section and wanted my tubes tied during the delivery, however I did not talk about it early enough with my doctor. He was unable to tie them for a number of factors.

First, the hospital where I delivered was a Catholic hospital and they don't believe in tying tubes at all. Exceptions are always made though if you and your doctor have reasons.

Second, your doctor will make you do an evaluation of sorts to be sure this is what you really want. .....What is your age? Is your husband aware of your decision? Does he support your decision?......those types of things.

Last, since you are already going to have to recover from a major surgery (c-section) doing the tubal would be convenient but if it is not something your doctor feels is a good choice for you he can deny your request.

Don't forget your husband can also play a responsible party and go get himself voluntarily sterilized.

Yes. They will tie your tubes if you have a c-section, just tell your doctor before hand that you want it done. It's best to do it when you are already on the table, then having to take you back into surgery after you are healed from the section- one incision, one scar, one time to recover. It doesn't take very long for them to do it, and if it is an elective c-section, you will probably be awake when they do it too, which I think is cool!! But then, I've done sections and ligations myself, so for me it's just fun to watch. It usually only take about 10-15 mins longer then a normal section to do it, so it's pretty quick. I'm thinking about doing it after our next baby. I'm pregnant with #3 too. But I would really like one more before I make a permanent decision, either that or just see how this whole pregnancy goes and decide then.

I misplaced my first infant at 19 weeks, purely 3 days until now my gender test became scheduled. i did not comprehend it became even achieveable to experience lots soreness. The harm and anger are completely typical, and particularly extreme good on the 1st actual. it fairly is alright to experience that way; you like time to grieve, and to enable your thoughts run their direction. it could look troublesome to have faith good now, yet at last the soreness will substitute into much less complicated to undergo. It on no account fairly heals thoroughly, yet existence keeps and you detect the variety to settle for what's got here approximately and comprehend that for some reason, issues had to take place the way they did. As for attempting returned, you're able to have a stick to-up appointment scheduled 2 weeks from now, and presented each and every thing is going nicely at that component, there is not any reason to not start up attempting returned. in case you wait until you have had a classic era however, in case you do conceive right now it fairly is going to likely be much less complicated as much as now the being pregnant. The exams they run on the child won't inform you gender or provide you a reason. even however i became 19 weeks and it would have been uncomplicated to tell on a infant that length, all they are finding for on the lab is not any rely if or not each and every thing that exceeded became typical being pregnant tissue. extra desirable than probably with a miscarriage that early, it became a chromosomal abnormality that in basic terms made it impossible for the child to proceed to exist. hang in there; you're superior than you comprehend, and that i'm confident you will make it via all this!

Absolutely this would be ideal if this is what you want, you wouldn't want to wait and then have to go back again later and do My sister ahd a C-section and then 1 year later decided that she wanted her tubes tide... she had to have another surgery and another 6 wks. of healing.. I would say to do them both at the same time
