The best is to get some "hand cleaner" gell that comes in a tub from an automotive supplier. Rub that in first into the carpet use a nailbruch as well to really get it in there. It mixes with the grease and oil, then use a liquid dish soap and some warm water and work that into it as the gell/oil will now combine with the water and come up. It would be best if you could take the carpet out and do the washing and hose it all off and let it dry. Otherwise you need plenty of rags to sop it up and wring out the excess water and contine the procedure.

Use a product called "Lestoil". Use it full strength. It won't harm the carpets (I use it instead of carpet cleaner inside my house).
Once you pour it on, let it soak a while. Put lots of water on it after the soak and use a shop vac/ wet vac to suck out the mess. Don't scrub too much, let the vac action do the work for you. Repeat the process 'til it's gone. The vac will also make the carpet almost dry to the touch and shorten the drying process.

Good Luck!
