Do you realise when you pay taxes that is exactly what you are doing,Every time you watch the news and see Mr&Mrs Mohamed digging in the remains of their house trying to find the shattered bodies of their children,you helped pay for that How does that make you feel knowing that you contributed if only in a small way to that horror?.

I agree with you totally.Our taxes pays for war.Wars based on lies and power trips by men who think we are stupid to think that they are saving our souls in the name of democracy and freedom.It makes me sick when i listen to politicians going on about the war on terror when they emulate the very word.Our taxes have also been taken away from our elderly and sick to fund the killing of innocents eventually resulting in the deaths of our fellow country man in one way or another.So yes we do pay someone to kill others all the time.Your question made a good point.

I pay taxes because it's required by law. What the government does with it is not in my hands. It's just like giving money to a beggar. I do it because God tells me to but after that he is accountable for how he uses it. Once that money leaves my hands it is no longer mine to decide. Elections are there to allow us to put people in office that will use our money wisely. Some do, some don't.
