And don't forget some of the huge soundtracks, like "Dirty Dancing" which was in the top 5 in 1988. The only other film soundtrack to make it that high was Prince's "Purple Rain."

Ok so those songs would be an awesome addition to any 80's mix. The saddest part is I knew all those songs from memory, lol. I guess that is what happens when you grew up in the 80's.
