I am continual bombarded with security popups requesting I buy their security programs. How? do I prevent them.

If your running xp, I believe there is a pop up blocking enabled in IE7. You can also try downloading the yahoo toolbar and enable popup blocking there.

I know it sounds difficult, but try switching from Windows Internet Explorer to FIREFOX. It is free.

Unlike IE, you cannot get spyware from any site with FireFox. Also, try downloading Ad-Aware (also free) http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

Scan your computer for any spyware right now.
