Yeah. Sure.
You guys must really make up your minds.
When the economy boomed, (and make no mistake it is still very healthy) Bush and his cronies claimed responsibility, but now that it 8the ecinomy) takes a very small 'dip' you guys blame the Democrats?
Are you going to give the Democrats credit when this little correction is over, and the 'economy' is back on track? I doubt it.

The big problem with the 'Bush ecomony' in the future is that Americans are being encouraged by the Government to 'borrow'.
Let's use our credit cards like crazy, because the economy is 'booming'!

Get real!
BTW, why do you ask a question, and then answer it?

The economy is dropping???

The Democrats have had a skinny majority in Congress for just over 60 days and you're already blaming them for something that isn't happening?

Where do you find your reality? In a bottle?

Was Bush to blame for 9/11 which happened 8 months after he took office? Not by your estimating, I'm sure. Yet, after 60 days, you're ready to blame Democrats for a bad economy that hasn't happened yet.

Do logic or facts fit into your thinking at all?

This is SO illogical that I think you're one of Karl's boys sowing the seeds of an economic downturn so you can blame it on the Demomcrats in 2008. It's the only chance you have to win, isn't it, you indescribable creep?

Another ignorant Republican. The Republicans have lead our country into a financial disaster. The economy may have looked better, but it wasn't designed to last. Republicans have left us a huge deficit and now that the Democrats are back in control they are trying to clean up the mess. Of course the economy will suffer.

Also, foreclosures and bankruptcies have increased due to loans that should never have been made. People refinanced and increased spending which made the economy prosper and allowed people to live higher than their means. Now that their adjustable mortgages are rising they can't afford the payments. People have less money for clothes, entertainment, vacations, etc. and this affects the economy. You can't blame this one on Democrats.

I don't blame this recent "market correction" on the dems. I also don't blame the GOP on other market corrections. These things come in cycles.

However, if the dems raise taxes and things go in the tank - that's their fault. Raising taxes doesn't help the economy. It is the way that congress pats us on the head and says, "kids, we know how to spend YOUR money better than you do."

It's highly-related to the billions of dollars of US debt held by China - billions that have flowed out of this country under the current administration, much of which has gone to fund a poorly-executed military adventures in Iraq. Now, if China sneezes (or Japan, or the EU), we all catch a cold.

When a Republican president puts the national debt into the trillions, it's amazing we have a country left at all. Actually, China probably owns us; hasn't Bush borrowed more from them than anywhere else?

nope, not to those of us who remember how well Reagnomics worked...what goes up must come down. And the fed. lowered interest rates to stimulate the economy...unlike what some cons think, those can't be permanent. They have to come back up, and it is too bad that they are coming up at a time that the housing market is bottoming out. No, not surprising at all...

Are you kidding me? You're going to try to say the economy took a dump since January? Do some research. Take your head out of your butt. Recognize the dems have only been in control for a very short time. If you're so worried about our economy, why aren't you asking about the pallets with billions of CASH that was lost? Geez, get a clue!

Yes, but Bush has the veto, so Democrats can not pass any legislation without Bush's signature.
