How about "Ender's Shadow", "Speaker for the Dead" or "Shadow of the Hedgemon" :)

"Lord" is easily compared to "A Separate Peace" based on Good vs Evil. They are both set during WWII and deal with a young male's viewpoint of trying to determine right from wrong.

"Enders" can easily be compared to "Fahrenheit 451" or "1984"- especially since the main characters in all of them go through a major "enlightenment" that makes them realize that society is not what they thought it was (or liked).

umm its not really 300 its more like 400 but its a really good book. either twilight or new moon are the best. and they have tons and tons about good and evil.
