What would you suggestion I do to be more social?

I am extremely shy it seems like. I do have friends, but when they hang out with other people I don't know I'm usually on the sidelines just listen to the conversation. I would love to be one of those people that have tons of friends and just be able to be more open. I have a serious problem when I try to talk to guys I like too. It is awful. Any tips?

We, humans, are shy because wee see the world through other people's eyes. We never stop to observe what lies around us using our own eyes. My advice to you is to think that, no matter what you say or do, the others will agree. Don't be afraid to tell them what you want or to do what you feel! They'll never do something to stop you, believe me! Everybody's shy, but many don't display it! Try to build yourself a mask, a stronger mask, a mask you'll use with the people you don't know!!!

yes. I had the same problem. Until someone told me to practice on the butcher, the baker, the delivery boy, the....etc.. anyone who immediatly knows the flirt or conversation is not very serious.,.. with practising your skills you will get more confident and it will become easier to talk. talk to girls too. talk with as much people as you can, then talk to the one you like... good luck!

Talk too someone you know and learn too talk with them. Then later on you can start talking to someone you know but you dont know them real good and work your way up! trust me it works I used this same method. And for the guy part Start with a simple conversation.! Good luck!!!!!

Duno, nothing wrong w/ shy, just dont look at alcohol to get over it, allot of people do.
