In a laboratory setting, identical twins would have identical scents - they are in fact IDENTICAL.
Individual body scents, however, will change with different diets, living environments and depending on what soaps are used for personal hygiene and laundry. Even these small changes will be enough to let a scent dog distinguish between the two.
As a side note to Robin M: Dogs can too talk, they just don't speak English (or any other human language). My dog very distinctly tells me when she has found something and I know if she has found what she was looking for, or just something that has caught her interest.

Dogs are not like people. They dont distinguish by looks as much as people do. That is not their primary sense. Dogs sense by smell.. so they should be able to tell the difference between identical twins.

Yes. Everybody emits a different smell - dogs sensitive to that. A cop told me that tracker dogs are literally following the smell of fear. The adrenaline rush from committing a crime makes people smell differently, and that's what the dog smells.

Identical twins have the same DNA, they look alike and a whole bunch of other similarities. But, they have their own pherimones and even if they didn't they could use the clothes of the other one to track the missing twin. If anyone has evidence this is incorrect cite it.

Well sure, I guess. Dog also live in the scent world. While not being a dog, I'm guessing it's a whole different world out there for dogs.

the only way i'm able to tell the version between hiccups and kicks is how long they final. until now each and every little thing for the 1st 30 seconds hiccups sense in simple terms like kicks so i will in simple terms anticipate the toddler is shifting, yet then i will notice a trend and if i'm able to anticipate while the subsequent little bump is i understand she's hiccuping. in simple terms like once you could tell the trend of your hiccups, your toddler's hiccups would be bump pause bump pause.. ect.

I would imagine so...although DNA is the same, everyone, including twins, have their own unique scent.

Yes because they would have different scents. :)
It's not about what you look like... but what you smell like.
Now go shower. :)
