It´s by this Finnish band called The Rasmus, it is one of my fab songs, I live in Finland and here it is soooo popular !!!

I found a few songs. One is by Rasmus called "In the Shadows." It includes lyrics of "I've been watching, I've been waiting

I also found a song by Hopesfall called "Endeavor" It includes lyrics "each new day draws near the final hour

I know of a song that has "i've been searching... i've been waiting.. in the shadows" Is that what you're looking for? I can't remember the name of it, but it's by The Rasmus.
