email me and i will chat to you in basic English! chat to heaps of different people, do cross word (even doing kids ones will help you if you are just learning English now)
BUT if you are proficient in English but want to better your vocabulary, go onto the dictionary.com and use word of the day, make sure you use a new word in everyday situations, that way you learn a new interesting word everyday, the more you use it, the more you learn and the more words you remember. i also find word games and cross words great for learning new words or different meanings. good luck

You can sign up for the "word of the day."
They will email a new word or phrase to you each day. It's a great way to increase your vocabulary.
You can also go to your local bookstore or library and find many vocabulary building books.

Read English books, lot of it. Form the habit of solving English Cryptic Crosswords. Play English Scrabbles.

You can increase english vocabulaly by reading English Newspapers, by interacting with others in English & while reading English papers ,the words that you don't know must be underlined & you should find out the meaning for that in Dictonary.

Read at least one book a week.
It doesn't matter if the book isn't difficult to read; read what you want to read (fantasy / sci-fi, etc) so that it doesn't become a boring affair, like newspapers can sometimes be.
Having said that, if your English standard is pretty much up to par and you just want to expand it further, it's best to read the newspapers everyday. You can be updated on current affairs at the same time.

Read, read and read. Make notes. There are books aimed at improving your vocabulary. Buy some good books. Crossword puzzles are helpful too.

look up meanings everytime u encounter a word that u dont understand, dont be like most people that just skip the word.
Do something that a lot of people do, learn a new word everyday and remember it and implement it in everyday conversations
