You need to extract .rar archives on your machine to preserve the file folder structure. rar lets it be a one-piece thing to download. If you can't get WinRar, it comes included in Linux (it's a Linux file compression algorhythm). There is a java program call Jrar at SourceForge. You will need at least java 1.3 on your machine.

You can download one of the internet to do that. I think I use WinRar extractor. Just yahoo search a RAR file extractor

Most Compression tools can extract RAR files. I'm not aware of any online tools for this purpose.
Try installing IZArc from izarc.org it's excellent and free.
