It is my opinion Jealousy is more dangerous...hatred, like love, is an emotion born out of passion..we can love something or hate something with equal emotion...jealously rears its ugly head when we believe we have/deserve/earn something LESSER than the next person...we can utilize this vehicle to excel, but more often we try to knock down the other, rather than build up ourselves, and thus, war is born...war with ourselves (anger for not being/having/doing as well), war with others ("Who do they think they are?"), and a general breakdown in morals, community, peace. God has a plan for everybody, albeit a seemingly forever-hidden agenda, so before you spiral over what you believe you are missing, look in the mirror and see what you have. And know that not everyone has exactly what you do, for bigger, better, stronger, faster...we are what we are...ENJOY!

Both are self-destructive, but if you go by what people have traditionally considered worse, then Jealousy wins. It is sixth on the Deadly Sin list; hatred did not make the list.
Someone, at some time, must have considered jealousy pretty darn dangerous enough to make a list of the Seven Things you should never take part in!

I think they both have potentional to be pretty dangerous but they both have different levels. I think hatred is more popular than jealousy to cause major harm and dealth. The klu klux clan didnt kill all those people because they were "jealous of their skin colour". It sad but true. Hatred often stems from ignorance and there are alot more ignorant people in this world then there are jealous people...at least who are wanting to take action. Plus, someone can hate you because they are jealous of you. We are all human and guilty of doing bad things and at the same time- we are hating other people who do bad things! Isnt it fun to live life thinking that if you do something bad- than someone is hating you. But is you do something good than someone is not only hating you but jealous of you as well! Makes you never want to do good things again. So...I think Hatred is definately more dangerous. Jealousy is merely a level of hatred

I think jealousy is more dangerous because it can be subjective or objective in nature.
By this I mean one can cause another to be jealous as a 'desired outcome' it happens everyday through competition.
On the other hand hatred is 'not a desired outcome' in most cases.
In conclusion jealousy is more dangerous only because more often it is encouraged as a method of competition.

I agree that both feelings are very bad - but I think hatred is worse.
You can be jealous from afar but hatred is more up close and personal.
