Oregon is a wonderful place to live!
Oregonians are very down to earth people, friendly, welcoming, and generally helpful. Medford is in a great location weatherwise, and it lovely as well.
Also, no sales tax in Oregon. True, you can't pump your own gas, but it's not any more expensive than neighboring states, just less convenient to have to wait for an attendant and all of that.
If you feel that is where you belong, then honey, THAT is where you belong!! Enjoy it!!

Lots of rain there, Also strange in some ways, like there is a law that you can't pump your own gasoline. I remember when people in Oregon publicized the fact that they did not welcome newcomers.
