ok..at this point i feel like an idiot. I was trying 2 remove a blackhead, and I guess i rubbed a little too hard and now I have this nasty red mark on my nose (feels like a scab). It started off as unnoticeable, but it did string. Then after I came back from skewl, it became brown and now its extremely red (and it doesnt sting). Any advice on how 2 get rid of it?? And will aloe vera gel help?

Thank u

I have also done this to myself..right in the middle of my brows. The only thing that helped mine was putting a warm washcloth on it for about 10 minutes then drying it of well, applying neosporin and a bandaid overnight. I actually had to do this 2 nights in a row before it was gone. Hope it works for you like it did for me.

Sounds like your frame needs some adjustment, but do know this, how well the fit of the eyeglass on your face depends on what kind of frame you have (whether if it's wrap around, flat, or somewhere in the middle) and also what kind of face you have (small nose, high nose bridge, high cheek bones?) All of it contribute to the "fit" of the eyeglass. Bring it back to wherever you got it from. They should be able to adjust it for you no charge. Minor adjustment I can understand, but if you sat on your eyeglasses or step on it, they'll probably charge your for an alignment fee, which is totally reasonable. I work in an Optical shop and you won't believe how many blokes come in with badly misaligned eyeglasses expecting me to do it for free. Sometimes they also want to me to intentionally break it so that they can pin me for it, that way they can get new eyeglasses. PFFFTTTT. What's fair is fair. Anyhow, about your adjustment at the nose, if it's metal arms with plastic pads, it's ok for it to have a mark, that's unavoidable, just so long that it's not red. Red is bad. Good luck!

ive had them before...you just have to leave them alone and let it heal on its own. also, when you go to put makeup on...dont try to hide it because it will look bad because the makeup will cake up in it and look gross...i learned that the hard way. just have patience!

It must heal, now. keep it moist and it will slowly (over time) lift and flake as the body discards.

Leave it alone and don't touch it until it heals on its own.
