Has happened to me several times. I swear I do not know them but they insisted they know me. Turns out there is another person in my town that must be my twin. Happens a lot. I just tell them sorry, but I really do not know you and walk away.

This happened to me at a bus stop. I kept insisting that I did not know the person. Finally I walked away until he was gone and went back to the bus stop. Yes its very scary.

This hasn't happend to me, but I've been the person who mistakes someone for their friend.
I have very bad eyesight and didn't have my glasses on. We all decided to go eat at the Hot link place and my friend was going to meet us there. We got there and I saw her sitting down already eating so I waved and me and my other friends went to order.
I didn't know what to get and they wouldn't order till I ordered so I yelled my friends name and asked what she got. She didn't say anything. I yelled again and she said Im not [my friends name]. I sunk to the floor, humiliated. I had mistaken a girl I didn't really know for my friend. To this day when I see that girl I get bright red.

It's scary!! I try to ignore 'em as much as I can and hopefully they get the message!

start yelling htings like:
"who are you? get away from me!"
"help pervert!"
"i don't want to go with you!"
if the person is really trying to get you or just playing a prank they will get scared and leave or passersby will beat them off.
