As the two people above stated, the females have a plumper body, the males are sleek. Another way to tell is that the females always chase the males around in the tank.
You should considering getting more than two, however. Danios are schoaling fish and should be kept in groups of 6. Keeping them in smaller groups stresses them out and shortens their lifespan considerably.

First of all you should NEVER buy Zebra danios unless you can keep at least 6 of them. If you keep 2 then you are actually harming their behaviour coz they are schooling fish.
Now about their sexes its difficult to tell them apart but one way is by viewing them from above, you will find that the females are more plumper in the middle of their bodies and the males are much more sleek.
During breeding season this differenc ebecomes more obvious.
Also Danios do not breed if you keep only one couple. Theyr always breed in large numbers.

The only way to tell is by size. Females will be a little larger and plumper than males. It really helps make it easier to tell them apart if you are looking at a tank full at the time.

There is no difference in their coloration. Females tend to be a bit larger and more full bodied than males, but it can be hard to tell if you have a pair, or just one small and one large of the same sex.

The ones with silver and blue bars are females, and the ones with gold and blue bars are males. The gold is a very light gold. It looks silver from far away. May I ask, what size of tank are they in?
